When Surfaces Meet
This series is inspired by the tension created when different surfaces come together. I am attracted to images like waterfall marks on large boulders, lichen moss on the bark of a tree, ice formations on a river bed, leaf stains on sidewalks, or stains on ruins of a building. Insatiably curious, I wonder about the story of these natural and or human-made formations and what their purpose was. In my dream state all possibilities are open. In reality there are lessons on how different cultures or ideas can come together. In the end, Nature shows us how wondrous the outcome can be.
